Jeff Thayer

Jeff learned to sail racing dinghy’s on the Charles River in Cambridge Massachusetts while attending college there.   He started sailing on the bay in 1984 and has sailed up and down the coast of Ca, the Caribbean, Mexico, Polynesia and most recently has been cruising in the Great Lakes.   “I love to teach sailing to witness that satisfying  “Ah Ha!” moment when students get why sailing is worth of all the attention you can give it (and probably more).

When not sailing, you are most likely to find Jeff working on his own Boat, mountain biking or at his day job:  heading a robotics engineering team.
